Success hinges on choosing polyester-based glitter cardstock—its synthetic fibers bond with sublimation dyes, unlike cotton blends that yield faded prints. Use medium-weight cardstock (160–200 g/m²) to avoid warping under heat. Set your sublimation printer to “cardstock” mode, with ink density at 75–85% to prevent bleeding over glitter particles. Heat press at 180–190°C for 20–25 seconds with light pressure. Let it cool fully before handling to lock in color and protect glitter. This combo creates eye-catching, durable pieces—perfect for weddings, parties, or branded merchandise. Always test a sample to refine settings for your specific cardstock.
